The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. http://www.usgwarchives.net called in youth laura l dunkle was born july 4, 1907, in locke township. she was the oldest child of stanley and alida dunckle and one of a family of six children. she loved younger children and their care seemed to be a joy to hr. to know her was to love her, her quiet lady like ways finding a place in the affection of all. the brief life was spent here in locke with her parents. the recent and severe finally fatal affliction was borne with patience. the departure took place early friday morning, october 18. her going leaves a large place in all our hearts and especially in the home. she leaves to mourn her loss, a father, mother, one sister, four brothers, grandfather, grandmother, a number of uncles and aunts and a host of other relatives. private funeral services were held at the house with short services at the grave and the little form was laid to rest in rowley cemetery. rev r e durkee officiating. jic
