Ionia Sentinel - April 20 1935
C. D. Mann, 77, father of Homer E. Mann, Ionia, died at his home in Lansing 
Saturday following another severe stroke.  He had been in poor health as result 
of an earlier stroke suffered about a year ago.

Mr. Mann was formerly a farmer in Sheridan vicinity but had retired and was a 
resident of Lansing for the past 12 years.  He will be buried Wednesday 
afternoon following funeral services at the Mt. Hope church, Lansing at 1 
o'clock.  Interment in the Sheridan cemetery.

In addition to his son here, Mr. Mann is survived by two other sons, Warren of 
Lansing and Clyde of Texas; by a daughter, Odie Francisco of Tampa Fla.; two 
grandsons, Dale McComb, Kalamazoo and George Wellington, Springport and a 
granddaughter, Margaret Mann, also of Springport.
