MRS RODNEY NEAR
        Mrs Rodney Near, 59, died Saturday evening at her home in Lansing,
following a brief illness. Besides the husband she is survived by three
sons, J. L. of Lansing, Leslie of Charlotte, and John of South Bend,
Indiana; two grandchildren and five brothers, Clare Beck of Indianapolis,
Wilbur Beck of Los Angeles, California, Frank Beck of Vermontville, Ernest
Beck of Seattle Washington and Al. Beck of Hastings. Burial at Vermontville.
