Rose ST. JOHNS -- William D. Rose of 1413 South Lansing Street died Thursday, Feb. 4, at 7:45 a.m. in Clinton Memorial Hospital after several years of poor health. He was 83 years old. Services were held Saturday, Feb 6, at 1 p.m. at the Hoag Funeral Home, Burial was in Freeport, the city that Mr. Rose was born in. HE LIVED in the St. Johns area since 1935, and was an employee of the Detroit Creamery for 37 years. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Elmer Stewart and Miss Charlotee Rose, both of St. Johns; two sons, Arthur J. of Jackson and Chester M. of Charlotte; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Bernice Sutliff of Lansing; and a brother, George of Battle Creek.
