Obituary of Clifford W. Smith 





Clifford W. Smith was born in Aurelius Aug. 10, 1888, and was taken into the 
family of W. W. Smith when an infant and brought up by them as their own son.  
United with the Presbyterian church when about 13, attended school here in 
Mason and grew to maturity in this community.



Feb. 26, 1908, he was united in marriage with Naomi Bush.  To them have been 
born three children, two of whom are living and with the wife and foster 
parents remain to mourn their loss.



Feb. 12th he met with an accident in the Wabash R. R. yards in Detroit and was 
taken to the Harper Hospital, where he expired Wednesday, Feb. 19.



He was a kind hearted, amiable, pleasant man to all who had the privliege [sic] 
of his acquaintance.  He never held a grudge and counted everybody as his 
friend.
