Nearly one hundred people attended the ceremony and guests included many living descendants of people buried in the cemetery. The marker lists the names of those known to be buried in Foote-Rockwell. It also contains the following text: "Approximately 66 were interred here between 1850 and 1926, the site of the Truman Rockwell family farm. While we have only identified the following, we honor them all."
