Atlanta I. Chadwick was the first wife of Charles M. Chadwick. Census records 
would lead one to believe that Atlanta died during or as a result of giving 
birth to a daughter.  Atlanta I. was found in the 1870 Census with Charles but 
not in the 1880 Census.  However, there was found in the 1880 Census a James 
H. and Mahala Lemm. Charles M. Chadwick had a sister named Mahala. In this 
Lemm Census record was an adopted child named Atlanta Chadwick.  She was 8 
years old which would have made her birth year 1872, the same year that 
Atlanta I. Chadwick passed away.
