Blanchard 1834 – 1900 At Rest Additional Comments: Ezra G. Blanchard was born 1834 in Sodus, Wayne, New York and died in Wheatfield, Ingham County, Michigan in 1900. His parents were Ezra G. Blanchard b. 1806 and Dorcas A. (Decker) b. Apr 1811. Nellie Sherwood, daughter of Ezra G. and Marinda, is also buried in DuBois and is also listed on the South side of his tombstone. Marinda R, wife of Ezra, is burried next to him. Two other children of E.G and M.R. Blanchard are also burried in DuBois Cemetery near their grandparents. Their names are Lyman H. and Dora B. Mahala J. Phelps is the sister of Ezra G. Ezra G. Blanchard served in the Civil War in Company G, 12 Infantry. He enlisted as a Private on 13 March 1865 at the age of 31 and enlisted in on 21 Mar 1865. He was discharged from service on 28 May 1865 at DeVall’s Bluff, AR. Blanchard and Dorcas A. Decker. He died in 1900 in Wheatfield Township, Ingham, Michigan and buried at Dubois Cemetery, Mason, Ingham, Michigan. He married Marinda R. and had eight children: Ezra J, Ida M, William H, Myron, George, Frank, Nettie and Emma A. Blanchard.
