Sarah S. Chapman was born in 1849 and appears in the 1850 census as being age one. She was the daughter of Isral and Martha Jane (Kent) Chapman. Her father, Isral, and two siblings (Lewis N. and Lydia A.) are also buried in DuBois Cemetery.
