Irish Died July 12, 1885 Aged 66 yrs 9 mos & 12 ds Additional Comments: Talcott Bates Irish b. 30 Sep 1818 in Summit, Ohio d. 12 Jul 1885 Ingham, Michigan Note: some records on Ancestry.com say Jun 12 1885 for his death. Also, records on his birth differ. One says Oct 1 and one record says Aug 31. Irish family moved to Michigan in 1852. Both are also buried in DuBois Cemetery. Parents of Talcott Irish are: Abel Irish and Sally (McNeill) Irish. They are also buried in DuBois Cemetery. Many other Irish relatives are also burried in DuBois. Talcott Bates Irish served in the Civil War in Company G, 12 Infantry. Enlisted as a Private on 25 Nov 1861 at the age of 43. Enlisted in 19 Dec 1861. Discharged from service on 7 Jan 1865 at DeVall’s Bluff, AR.
