                              Sylvester Avery
                                1827 - 1903

Sylvester Avery son of Benjamin Perkins Avery and Elizabeth "Betsey" Brewer was
born on January 6, 1827 in Palmyra, Wayne, New York USA. He died on November 28, 
1903 in Dansville, Ingham, Michigan USA and buried at Fairview Cemetery, 
Dansville, Ingham, Michigan USA. He married Elizabeth Doane on January 1, 1851 
in Dansville, Ingham, Michigan USA and they had seven children: Frank Benjamin 
(Frank "Frankie" H. Hatch), John Miles (Sarah J. Emmons), Jason Wirt (Mary 
Matilda Matthew), Elmer Sylvester (Ella May Backus), Fred Delos, Charles Henry 
(Cora Belle Tedman) and James Cordon Avery (Lavanche Fidelia Walker).
