                              Benoni B. Backus
                                1859 - 1946

Benoni B. Backus son of Jared Backus and Hannah E. Newkirk was born on
July 8, 1859 in Dexter, Washtenaw, Michigan USA. He died at home on
Dexter Trail on June 1, 1946 in Dansville, Ingham, Michigan USA and buried
at Fairview Cemetery, Dansville, Ingham, Michigan USA. He married Elizabeth
"Lizzie" C. Burgess on October 16, 1879 and they had three unmarried children:
Rosamond "Rose" Backus, Anne "Annie" May Backus and Rollo "Rollin" Charles
Backus.
