                             Seth Benjamin 
                              1829 - 1891

Seth Benjamin son of William Benjamin and Abigail Shelby was born on November 3,
1829 in Clarkson, Monroe, New York USA. He died on February 3, 1891 in Leroy 
Township, Ingham, Michigan USA and buried at Fairview Cemetery, Dansville, 
Ingham, Michigan USA. He married Mary Jane Hoyt in 1850 in Livingston County, 
Michigan USA and they had five children: Arristeen (Frederick Jay Winegar), 
Frank, Emeline "Emma" (James Franklin O'Dell), George (Rachael A. Ide) and Delos 
Benjamin. Seth remarried on November 27, 1870 in Leroy Township, Ingham, 
Michigan USA to Patience "Flora" Crandall and they had ten children: Mary Jane,
Albert "Burt" Seth (Rosa M. Hoag)(Emma Clare Wolf), Elmer Bob (Cora C. Cady),
Rosa Mae (George Brown)(John Davis), Minerva "Minnie" Amelia (Isaac Luther 
Swan), Eveline, Alta, John Walter (Gertrude B. Kirkland), Zelpa Anna (Leo 
Ulysses Selfridge) and Charles Floyd Benjamin (Sarah A. Selfridge).
