                            George Lewis Carter
                                1818 - 1912

George Lewis Carter son of Brazilla Carter and Mary Polly Crary was born on
August 17, 1818 in Darien, Genesee, New York USA. On February 11, 1912 in
White Oak Township, Ingham, Michigan USA he died at his home of senility, old 
age with paralysis and buried at Fairview Cemetery, Section 2 Lot 258 Space 5 
in Dansville, Ingham, Michigan USA. On January 1, 1851 in Linden, Genesee, 
Michigan USA he married Abigail Harris and they had three children: an infant 
stillborn on October 3, 1854 and buried at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Dansville, 
Ingham, Michigan USA, Ella Adelaide Carter (Thomas Jefferson Gillam) and Grant 
George Carter (Nettie Gertrude Smith).
