                               Elias S. Clark
                                 1814 - 1894

Elias S. Clark was born on May 31, 1814 in New York USA. At the age of 10 years
old his mother died and after he turned 15 his father died. He was a blacksmith 
by trade. He died on June 30, 1894 in Ingham Township, Ingham, Michigan USA and 
buried at Fairview Cemetery, Section 2 Lot 165 in Dansville, Ingham, Michigan 
USA. On June 7, 1837 he married Mary Ann Fletcher and they had nine children: 
Orville (Adeline Carr), Almira, Albert (Hannah Ellen Gunnison), Andrew C. 
(Gertrude O. Johnson), Leonard Frank, Ira W. (Viola Maria Adams), Adaline 
"Addie" (Walden W. Raymond), Russell Allen (Marian Amelia Case) and Mandana
"Dana" Martin Clark (Edward T. Petty). After his wife Mary had died on August
18, 1879 he remarried on March 14, 1880 to Emma C. Warren.
