                          Daniel Johns Cobb Jr.
                               1833 - 1878

Daniel Johns Cobb Jr. son of Daniel Johns Cobb and Charlotte E. Hoyt was born on
January 4, 1833 in New York USA. He died on January 23, 1878 in Lansing, Ingham, 
Michigan USA and buried at Fairview Cemetery, Section 2 Lot 178 in Dansville, 
Ingham, Michigan USA. He was a civil war veteran beginning in Company I, 3rd
Regiment, Michigan Calvary and discharged at Baton Rouge, LA on June 2, 1865.
On December 28, 1854 in Wheatfield Township, Ingham, Michigan USA he married
Amanda Sherman and they had a daughter Clara A. Cobb (Allen Benton Sanderson).
After Amanda died on November 13, 1862 Daniel remarried on October 19, 1869 in
Washtenaw County, Michigan USA to Alice Kerr (Thomas Stalker).
