                            Daniel Johns Cobb Sr.
                                 1795 - 1857

Daniel Johns Cobb Sr. son of Elijah William Cobb and Sarah "Sally" Whitney was
born on October 18, 1795 in Canaan, Litchfield, Connecticut USA. He died on 
November 13, 1857 in Dansville, Ingham, Michigan USA and buried at Fairview 
Cemetery, Section 2 Lot 228 space 6 in Dansville, Ingham, Michigan USA with no 
visible marker for his grave. On September 15, 1822 in Rochester, Monroe, New York 
USA he married Charlotte E. Hoyt and they had six children: Thomas Morgan 
(Berintha Brooks), Charlotte Esther (William B. Sherman), Daniel Johns Cobb Jr.
(Amanda Sherman)(Alice Kerr), Clarissa "Clara" (Robert Johnson), Francis Marion 
(Viletta "Letta" Urzelia Rice) and Lyman Cobb.
