                              David Sheridan Crandall
                                    1816 - 1889

David Sheridan Crandall son of Caleb Crandall and Mary Holmes was born on 
October 25, 1816 in New York USA. He died on February 3, 1889 in White Oak 
Township, Ingham, Michigan USA and buried at Fairview Cemetery, Dansville, 
Ingham, Michigan USA. He married Rachel Cook on March 8, 1838 in New York USA 
and they had seven children: William H. (Melvina Warner), Tryphena (Stephen H. 
McCumber)(John Ide), Mary E. (William Alexander Havens), Charles Orsen (Amanda 
M. Harrington), John A, James Ezra (Carsilla "Cassie" M. Worden)(Edith May 
Starkweather) and Fred D. Crandall (Hattie Cordelia Doty). David's second wife
Maria E. is also buried with him at Fairview Cemetery. Her name is listed on 
one side of the tall monument.
