                              Alfred A. Dakin
                                1842 - 1892

Alfred A. Dakin son of Jacob D. Dakin and Mahala Eggleston was born on May 2, 
1842 in Meadville, Ingham, Michigan USA. He died at Hotel Horton of tuberculosis 
on December 8, 1892 in Mason, Ingham, Michigan USA and buried at Fairview 
Cemetery, Section 2 Lot 77 in Dansville, Ingham, Michigan USA. He married 
Samantha Nancy Wessels on February 22, 1868 in Ingham County, Michigan USA by C. 
B. Abbott, Minister with witnesses Mr. and Mrs. Wolfe and Mr. and Mrs. Wessels. 
He and Samantha had three children: Maud N. (Frank Henry Jackson)(Herbert
Haskell Waldo), Floyd A. Dakin and Dr. Wirt Bradley Dakin (Harriett Elizabeth
Rueekert).
