                               1841 - 1928

Samantha Nancy "Wessels" Dakin daughter of Samuel Boon Wessels and Ellen Eliza
Crawford was born on October 12, 1841 in Ingham County, Michigan USA according
to her death certificate. Her tombstone shared with Alfred A. Dakin reads 1847
as her year of birth. She died in Stockbridge, Ingham, Michigan USA on October 
7, 1928 of general arteriosclerosis with lobar pneumonia and buried at Fairview    

Cemetery, Section 2 Lot 77 in Dansville, Ingham, Michigan USA. She was married
first to Asher Davis Spalding on February 12, 1858 in Ingham County, Michigan 
USA and they had a daughter, Mattie "Etta" Spalding (Edward M. Walker)(Warren
E. Hills). She remarried to Alfred A. Dakin on February 22, 1868 in Ingham 
County, Michigan USA and they had three children: Maud N. (Frank Henry Jackson)
(Herbert Haskell Waldo), Floyd A. Dakin and Wirt Bradley Dakin (Harriett 
Elizabeth Rueekert). Her third husband was Gabriel H. Trefry.
