                              John B. Dakin
                               1823 - 1891

John B. Dakin son of Jacob D. Dakin and Mahala Eggleston was born on July 13, 
1823 in Sugar Hill, Steuben, New York USA. He was a banker and a business owner 
in the village of Dansville, Ingham, Michigan USA. He died on July 14, 1891 in 
Williamston, Ingham, Michigan USA and buried with the largest tombstone in the
cemetery at Fairview Cemetery, Section 2 Lot 191 in Dansville, Ingham, Michigan 
USA. On July 4, 1847 in Ingham County, Michigan USA he was married to Harriet 
Jessop and they had two sons: Wirt B. Dakin and infant son Dakin both having 
died very young.
