                               Jacob D. Dakin
                                 1798 - 1862

Jacob D. Dakin son of Elisha and Phebe Dakin was born on March 8, 1798 in 
Dutchess County, New York USA. He died on August 10, 1862 in Dansville, Ingham, 
Michigan USA and buried at Fairview Cemetery, Section 2 Lot 191 in Dansville, 
Ingham, Michigan USA. On December 18, 1818 he married Mahala Eggleston. Other 
records show a marriage date of December 25, 1821. They had fifteen children: 
Michael D.(Emaline Jessop), John B.(Harriet Jessop), Mary Ann (Richard Glasby 
Warfle), Nancy, Margaret (James Warfle), Sarah C.(Myndert Veeder Wemple), Rachel
B.((Daniel T. Weston)(Steven Ferguson), Elisha H.(Frances Vorce), Elizabeth
"Betsy" E.(James Warfle), Daniel LeBar (Agnes Adelaide Ingersoll), Hubbard H.
(Mary Moran), Alfred A.(Samantha Nancy Wessels), Abraham A.(Elnora A. Munson),
Mahala (Merritt Wright) and Francis "Frank" M.(Mary S. Norton).
