Alonzo Doan(e) was born 20 February 1816.  He was the the forth child of Joshua J.
and Mary "Polly" [Sanborn] Doane.  Records lead this writer to believe that Alonzo
was born in New York 
although no record has yet been found.  Alonzo married Betsy Gray, daughter of James
and June Gray, on
18 April 1850 in Fort Covington, New York.  It is recorded that they had six
children.  By 1836 Alonzo's
parents had moved to Michigan and Alonzo and his wife followed after that, probably
in 1850/51.  Their 
[Alonzo and Betsy] first child Horace was born in Ingham twp., Ingham Co, Michigan
in 1851.

Rest


Additional Comments:
Alonzo was the next younger sibling to my Great Great Grandfather, Harrison Doan.
