Betsy Doan was the daughter of James and June Gray.  She was a Canadian by birth
being born in "Lower Canada" (Dundee).  [author: this was probably in what is now 
the Province of Quebec as she was married in Ft. Covington , New York across from 
the Quebec Canadian Border].  Betsy was born 14 November 1831. 
 
Betsy was the wife of Alonzo Doan.
