                            Joseph L. Dyer
                             1838 - 1910

Joseph L. Dyer son of Phillip Dyer and Anna Shotwell was born on July 26, 1838
in Michigan USA. On August 26, 1910 in White Oak Township, Ingham, Michigan USA
he died of carcinoma of the lower jaw and buried at Fairview Cemetery, Sec 3 Lot 
365 in Dansville, Ingham, Michigan USA. On October 13, 1858 in Unadilla 
Township, Livingston, Michigan USA witnessed by John Dyer and Elizabeth Dyer he 
married Mary Jane Backus and they had four sons: Clark B.(Betsey Abigail 
Atwood), Bert J.(Minnie E. Pulling), George C.(Naomi Mary Clements) and John S.
Dyer (Jessie Maude Jones). After Mary died on December 16, 1898 Joseph married
Mrs. Elizabeth Britton on March 7, 1901 in Webberville, Ingham, Michigan USA by 
J. R. Blackie, Justice of the Peace with witnesses Roseana Whitehead and 
Carolina Blackie. Elizabeth died on May 19, 1905 and Joseph remarried to Effie 
Eugenie DeMund on September 6, 1905 in Holly, Oakland, Michigan USA by D. S. 
Carmichael, Minister with witnesses George Predmore and Mrs. George Predmore.
