                               Mary Jane Dyer
                                 1838 - 1898

Mary Jane "Backus" Dyer daughter of Gordon Backus and Mary Hall was born on
October 1, 1838 in Michigan USA. On December 16, 1898 in White Oak Township,
Ingham, Michigan USA she died of peritonitis with inflammation of bowels and 
lungs and buried at Fairview Cemetery, Sec 3 Lot 365 in Dansville, Ingham, 
Michigan USA. On October 13, 1858 in Unadilla Township, Livingston, Michigan USA 
witnessed by John Dyer and Elizabeth Dyer she married Joseph L. Dyer and had 
four sons: Clark B.(Betsey Abigail Atwood), Bert J.(Minnie E. Pulling), George 
C.(Naomi Mary Clements) and John S. Dyer (Jessie Maude Jones).
