                            Adelia L. Ewers
                              1832 - 1894

Adelia L. "Harford" Ewers daughter of William Harford and Parmelia Kniffin
was born on February 6, 1832 in Lima, Washtenaw, Michigan USA. On June 15, 
1894 in Bunkerhill Township, Ingham, Michigan USA she died from dropsy and 
buried at Fairview Cemetery, Section 3 Lot 426 in Dansville, Ingham, 
Michigan USA. She first married Peter Rose on February 23, 1853 in 
Stockbridge, Ingham, Michigan USA and they had a daughter named Adella 
"Adell" Ruby Rose (Arthur Jay Crippen)(Eli E. Rood). After Peter died in 
1860 she remarried to Joseph Crocker Ewers on January 12, 1863 in Iosco 
Township, Livingston, Michigan USA. The witnesses to their marriage were her 
brother Theodore D. W. Harford and his wife Eliza. She and Joseph had four 
children: Annetta "Nettie" (David E. Carl), Edwin Freeman (Ella E. Shaw), 
Eva "Ida" (Charles E. Shaw) and Ervin Roscoe Ewers (Agnes Celia Heeney).
