                             Selah Brown Fitch Jr.
                                  1852 - 1899

Selah Brown "Joe" Fitch Jr. son of Selah Brown Fitch Sr. and Selinda Hopkins was 
born on November 15, 1852 in Fitchburg, Ingham, Michigan USA. He was struck by 
lightning and died on June 5, 1899 in Fitchburg, Ingham, Michigan USA and buried 
at Fairview Cemetery, Dansville, Ingham, Michigan USA. He married Susan Louise 
Hulbert on March 30, 1875 in Tittabawassee Township, Saginaw, Michigan, USA and 
they had six children (three died in infancy): Nettie Lavina (Fred William 
Gailey Sr.), Willie Fitch and Carrie G. Fitch (John Robert "Banty" Hills). After 
Susan died on August 2, 1888 Selah remarried to Minnie Louise Cady on March 16, 
1889 in White Oak Township and they had a daughter: Bertha Della Fitch (Frank 
Henry Everett).
