                                1855 - 1936

Charles John Fortman was born on March 6, 1855 in Lansing, Ingham, Michigan USA 
to Jacob Geraldus Fort and Anna Barbara Schnecenburg, died on June 29, 1936
in Dansville, Ingham, Michigan USA and buried at Fairview Cemetery, Dansville,
Ingham, Michigan USA. He married Samantha Elnora Holt on July 27, 1880 and they 
had five sons: Elmer Charles (Abbie Jane McMichael), Floyd Jacob (Myra Agnes 
Williams), Byron Holt (Jennie Olive Winslow), William Otto (Edna Cole)(Gladys
