John Gustavus Foster son of Gustavus Halleck Foster and Chriscilda Jane York
was born on August 10, 1878 in Iosco, Livingston, Michigan USA. He died on
February 24, 1950 in Michigan USA and buried at Fairview Cemetery, Dansville, 
Ingham, Michigan USA. He married Lena Mae Martin and they had two children:
Mabel L. Foster and Clarence Clare Foster (Beulah Izola Snyder).
