                                Bertha Olive Gauss
                                   1872 - 1953 

Bertha Olive "Sweet" Gauss daughter of Daniel Sweet and Elizabeth Rohrbacker
was born in 1872 in Fulton County, Ohio USA. She died on December 9, 1953 at
Foote Hospital in Jackson, Jackson, Michigan USA and buried at Fairview 
Cemetery, Dansville, Ingham, Michigan USA. She first married Erastus "Ross" 
Staninger and she had three children: Leslie Dan, Opal E.(Robert William Titus)
(Daniel Romeyn Lantis) and Helen E. Staninger (Clarence E. Dayton)(Geer). She 
later remarried to Fredrick "Fred" E. Gauss.
