                            John W. Gifford
                              1836 - 1898

John W. Gifford son of Ira Gifford and Abigail Grimes was born on September 27,
1836 in Scio, Washtenaw, Michigan USA. On February 13, 1898 in White Oak 
Township, Ingham, Michigan USA he died of paralysis and buried at Fairview 
Cemetery, Section 3 Lot 445 in Dansville, Ingham, Michigan USA. He was married 
to Zilpha Ann Fish and they had four children: Ella, Caroline "Carrie" Adell 
(Noyes "Norris" Andrew Wilcox), George O. (Emma Wright) and Frederick J. Gifford 
(Valetta "Letta" P. Hubbard)(Elizabeth O'Dell).
