                               Sarah Hoffman
                                1805 - 1859

Sarah "Demorest" Hoffman daughter of Cornelius Demorest and Maria Demorest
(cousin of Cornelius) was born on March 14, 1805 in New Jersey USA. She died
on April 9, 1859 in Dansville, Ingham, Michigan USA and buried at Fairview
Cemetery, Section 2 Lot 109 in Dansville, Ingham, Michigan USA. On November 15, 
1828 in Sussex County, New Jersey USA she was married by Rev. L. Fletcher, 
Pastor of the Great Valley Baptist Church to James Hoffman and they had eight 
children: William, Elizabeth, Samuel D. (Emma Rosetta Hanes), Cornelius (Frances 
Emeline Davison), James M. (Almira C. Williams), Joseph, Theodore (Rachel A. 
Woods)(Mary E. Whipple) and Oren D. Hoffman.
