                              Theodore Hoffman
                                 1845 - 1900

Theodore Hoffman son of James Hoffman and Sarah Demorest was born on June 25, 
1845 in Dansville, Ingham, Michigan USA. He was the owner of T. Hoffman Hardware 
Store in Dansville, Ingham, Michigan USA. On August 20, 1900 in Ingham County, 
Michigan USA he died at his home from contracting tetanus following an accident 
with runaway horses causing a compound fracture of his leg and buried at 
Fairview Cemetery, Section 3 Lot 390 in Dansville, Ingham, Michigan USA. On 
November 7, 1867 in Dansville, Ingham, Michigan USA by H. Kittridge, Minister 
with witnesses M. M. Woods and H. Woods, he married Rachel A. Woods and they had
three sons: Infant Hoffman, Heman L. (Flora Augusta Selfe) and Elmer T. Hoffman.
After his wife Rachel died in 1899 he remarried on May 16, 1900 in Dansville, 
Ingham, Michigan USA to Mary E. Whipple, daughter of Allen H. Whipple and 
Clarissa J. Collins. They were only married three months before he died.
