                              Martha Jane Huston
                                 1833 - 1866

Martha Jane "Smith" Huston daughter of Alden Amasa Smith and Penelope Elizabeth 
Cooper was born on March 17, 1833 in Niagara County, New York USA. She died on 
September 18, 1915 in Williamston, Ingham, Michigan USA and buried at Fairview 
Cemetery, Dansville, Ingham, Michigan USA. She first married William R. Putnam 
on March 12, 1854 in Leroy Township, Ingham, Michigan USA and had three 
children: Alice Augusta (Charles A. Smith), Lester Richard (Catherine "Kate" Ann
Pollok) and Emma Julia Putnam (Albert L. Rose). William died in 1864 and Martha
remarried to John S. Huston on May 14, 1866 in Mason, Ingham, Michigan USA and 
had three children: Grace E. Huston, Fred William Huston and Frank Huston (Bird 
J. Emmer).
