                               Elias P. McCollum
                                 1830 - 1908

Elias P. McCollum son of John W. McCollum and Lucy dyas Pettis was born on 
March 27, 1830 in New York USA. He died by hanging with a rope around his neck
on January 30, 1908 in Rives Township, Jackson, Michigan USA and buried at 
Fairview Cemetery, Dansville, Ingham, Michigan USA. He married Phylura Austin
on December 5, 1852 in Genesee County, Michigan USA. The tombstone has his last
name spelled McCollam which is believed to be a mistake.
