                             James Jackson Minkler
                                  1816 - 1900

James Jackson Minkler (Minckley or Minchier) son of Matthew Minckley and Ruth
Dillingham was born on June 25, 1816 in Vermont USA. He was a building mover.
He died on March 30, 1900 in Dansville, Ingham, Michigan USA of old age and
buried at Fairview Cemetery, Section 2 Lot 99 space 2 in Dansville, Ingham, 
Michigan USA with no visible marker for his grave. He and his first wife Mary
Ann were married about 1841 and had seven children: sisters married brothers - 
Amanda Ruth (Horace L. Aseltine), Lucinda (Israel "Joel" Creswell Aseltine), 
Almira B. (Orson J. DeBar), James M. Minkler, George W. (Olivia E. Speer), 
Mary Ann Minkler and Thomas James Minkler. Mary Ann died in 1863 and James 
remarried to Lucinda Arclise Ide on November 15, 1863. Lucinda died on 
November 10, 1883 of cancer and James remarried again to M. Elsie Aseltine.
