 1901-1979

Homer Franklin Nelson was born on June 2, 1901 in White Oak Township, Ingham,
Michigan USA to Chancey Elmer Nelson and Flora Louise Munn. He died on June 27,
1979 in Williamston, Ingham, Michigan and buried at Fairview Cemetery. He married
Olive Marion Shaffer on October 2, 1924 in Mason, Ingham, Michigan and had seven
children: Homer Bruce, Jacqueline June, Iris Jane, Keith Clyde, Sharon Joy,
Kenneth Franklin and Marian Catherine Nelson. He later married Vera Chase on
December 15, 1951.
