Edward James Otis son of James Otis and Sophrona Curtis was born on June 26, 1867 
in Fairgrove, Tuscola, Michigan USA, died on April 30, 1942 in Michigan USA and 
buried at Fairview Cemetery, Dansville, Ingham, Michigan USA. He married Lottie 
Mary McCreedy on October 26, 1892 in Tuscola County, Michigan USA and they had two 
daughters: Vera V. and Leah S. Otis (Norman Stevenson Beeler).
