     Paul Otis
     1783 - 1855

Paul Otis was born in 1783 in St. Albans, Franklin, Vermont USA to Paul Otis and
Elizabeth Parshley. He died on January 1, 1855 in Washtenaw County, Michigan USA
and buried at Fairview Cemetery, Dansville, Ingham, Michigan USA. He married
Maria Aseltine or VanHaseltine in 1814 in St. Albans, Franklin, Vermont USA and
had thirteen children: Charles Oscar (Polly Ann McCreery), Katherine Elizabeth
(Conrad Krapf), Maria Ann, Parshley Joseph (Louisa North), Maghager (Louisa
Dennis), Hannah Curtis, Philo (Lucy Ann Hatch)(Asenath Worden), Philander
Aseltine, John, Ferel (Mary Carpenter), Orville (Sophronia Davis). Sarah Ann
(James McCurry) and James Otis (Sophronia Curtis). He later married Sarah
"Sally" Carl in 1834 and had four more children: Martin VanBuren (Artimesia Mary
Philo), Ann Maria "Mary" (Aretus Swan)(Edward W. Sedwick), Albert Otis 1845-1862
and Mary Jane Otis (George Carr)(Benjamin J. Coulston).
