                           Elmer Clark Phelps
                               1892 - 1963

Elmer Clark Phelps son of Clark J. Phelps and Helena "Lena" Prostel was born
on December 26, 1892 in Breckenridge, Gratiot, Michigan USA. On May 20, 1963
in Mason, Ingham, Michigan USA he died at Mason General Hospital and buried 
at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Chelsea, Washtenaw, Michigan USA. He has a 
tombstone with his name and dates located at Fairview Cemetery, Section 4 
Lot 7 space 5 in Dansville, Ingham, Michigan USA but he is not buried here 
with his first wife rather with his second wife. On October 1, 1916 in 
Stockbridge, Ingham, Michigan USA by Rev. H. H. Cheney, Minister with 
witnesses Mrs. H. H. Cheney and Gordon Cheney he married Beryle Abigail 
Gillam and they had a daughter named Mary Jeanne "Jean" Phelps. After Beryle 
died he remarried on February 18, 1933 to Marie Loretta Guinan and they had
four children: Elmer James "Pete" (Mary Ann Campbell), Clark David (Marie),
John Dennis (Barbara Kay Francis) and Margaret Ann Phelps (Richard Lloyd
Morrison Jr).
