                                  George William Post
                                      1834 - 1874

George William Post son of Samuel Post and Mary Shaw was born on August 21, 1834 
in New York USA, was crushed by a falling tree on March 10, 1880 in Ingham 
County, Michigan USA and buried at Fairview Cemetery, Dansville, Ingham, 
Michigan USA. He married Lucy Vanstenburg and they had three children: Adelbert 
"Del" Post,(May Huntley), Oliver Merriman and Mabel Ida Post (Mueller)(Frank M. 
Mowrer). He and Lucy were divorced on June 30, 1873 in Mason, Ingham, Michigan 
USA and remarried to Cordelia Jane Grandy on February 14, 1874 in Dansville, 
Ingham, Michigan USA and they had two children: Ada M.(William Finch) and Claude 
Merriman Post (Ruie "Rene" May Curry).
