                             Jacob Rowe
                            1791 - 1863

Jacob Rowe son of Aretas Rowe and Abigail Sargent was born on November 1, 1791 
in Brentwood, Rockingham, New Hampshire USA. He was a veteran of the War of 
1812. He died on October 14, 1863 in Connecticut USA and buried at Fairview 
Cemetery, Dansville, Ingham, Michigan USA. He married Betsey Griffin on January 
1, 1827 in Norwich, New London, Connecticut USA and they had eight children: 
George R, William Bertrand (Mandana Dakin), Charles H, James, Richard, Bessie
Ann (John A. McPherson), James G. and John J. Rowe.
