                                 1858 - 1898

Smith Wygant Simons son of Norman Austin Simons and Rachel Chadwick was born on
May 15, 1858 in Michigan USA. On July 29, 1898 in Dansville, Ingham, Michigan USA
he died of heart disease with nervous prostration and buried at Fairview Cemetery, 
Section 3 Lot 300 space 1 in Dansville, Ingham, Michigan USA. On July 3, 1882 in 
Dansville, Ingham, Michigan USA by J. F. Kellogg, Minister with witnesses Frank D. 
Shults and Amanda VanCamp he married Lucella "Lucy" Electa VanCamp and they had 
eight children: Ida May (Frank Hopkins), Roy Smith Simons (Minnie Cornell), Daniel 
Norman (Stella E. Grigg), Willis Horatio (Marla Agnes Synder)(Gertrude Emily Klemm
Healy), Merritt D. (Helen Norris), Frank Ervin (Mabel Collins)(Lillian Flemming),
Infant male Simons and Mary "Margria" Marjorie Simons (Leon DeRuyver).
