                              Samuel Skadan
                               1808 - 1896

Samuel Skadan son of John G. Skadan and Christian Jayne was born on November 28,
1808 in Newburgh, Orange, New York USA. He died on April 3, 1896 in Dansville,
Ingham, Michigan USA and buried at Fairview Cemetery, Section 2 Lot 172 in 
Dansville, Ingham, Michigan USA. On January 9, 1832 in Sennett, Cayuga, New York
USA he married Irena Sheldon and they had three children: Louise J. (Marcus M.
Atwood), Hiram Nelson (Fannie Lovell)(Grace Talbot)(Georgia Willard) and 
Juliette Skadan. After Irena died on March 8, 1848 he remarried on September 25,
1848 in Mason, Ingham, Michigan USA to Emeline Sherman and they had a son named
John Wesley Skadan (Ellen A. McBean). After Emeline died on March 4, 1850 he
remarried on April 14, 1853 in Ingham Township, Ingham, Michigan USA to Mercy C.
Atwood and they had three children: Floyd C. (Mahala Jane Halstead)(Maggie May
Kurnan), Samuel Frank (Cecelia Katherine Phillips) and Jennie Irena Skadan
(George W. Miller).
