                           Laura Louise Slaght
                               1848 - 1906

Laura Louise (Lindsley) Slaght daughter of Silas S. Lindsley and Laura Irene
Lyon was born on August 29, 1848 in Ingham County, Michigan USA according to 
her death certificate. On May 30, 1906 in Wheatfield Township, Ingham, 
Michigan USA she died of heart failure, neuralgia and nervous weakness and 
buried at Fairview Cemetery, Section 1 Lot 19 space 4 in Dansville, Ingham, 
Michigan USA with no visible marker for her grave. Her first marriage on June 
7, 1863 in Dansville, Ingham, Michigan USA was to Earl W. Prior and they had a 
daughter named Annetta "Nettie" L. Prior/Pryor (Marvin P. Otis). Earl died 
from a disease after serving in the Civil War on March 10, 1865 and Laura 
remarried on October 14, 1865 in Mason, Ingham, Michigan USA to Harrison 
Thomas Hedglen and they had two daughters: Ella and Nora Marion Hedglen 
(Ellsworth C. Aseltine). She remarried again in 1875 to Horace Theodore Rogers
and had four children: Carrie Ella (Emanuel C. Green), William Henry 
(Henrietta "Etta" Green)(Abigail C. Holmes)(Charlotte Isabelle Booth), Sadie 
E. (Willis B. Aseltine) and Zella May Rogers (George Alpheus Slaght). Her 
fourth husband she married on October 27, 1895 in Dansville, Ingham, Michigan 
USA by Andrew J. Miller, Justice of the Peace with witnesses E. Aseltine and 
Nora Aseltine was Edward Slaght, son of Alpheus Slaght and Eliza Ann Cook and 
grandson of Henry L. Slaght and Harriet Hazelton.
