                      Alpheus "Alpha" Christopher Titus
                                 1855 - 1936

Alpheus Christopher Titus son of Melville Jonas Titus and Martha Marilda 
Hopkins was born on August 20, 1855 in Unadilla Township, Livingston, 
Michigan USA. On March 18, 1936 in Munith, Jackson, Michigan USA he died of 
myocarditis and hypertrophy and arteriosclerosis and buried at Fairview 
Cemetery, Section 4 Lot 32 space 5 in Dansville, Ingham, Michigan USA. On 
April 21, 1886 in Henrietta Township, Jackson, Michigan USA by L. S. Chapin 
with witnesses William F. Baird and Eleanor A. Baird he married Kate Louise 
Lake and they had three children: Ethel Louise (Fred Elmer Marshall), Ernest
"Ernie" Melville (Edna May Wilcox) and Robert William Titus (Opal E. 
Staninger - Lantis). After Kate died in 1925 he remarried on December 1, 
1927 in Munith, Jackson, Michigan USA by Bruce R. Davis, Minister with 
witnesses Harry L. Olds and Lura Olds of Jackson, Jackson, Michigan USA to 
Emma Mae Holt (Frank William Olds).
