Note:  Allen H. Whipple was the son of Amos and Mary Ann (Rice) Whipple.  He 
was born February 13, 1819 in New York and died February 18, 1900 in 
Dansville, Ingham Co., MI.  He was the brother of William R. Whipple and 
Randolph Wells Whipple.  He was married to Clarissa Whipple and they were the 
parents of Erasmel R. Jane C., James C. and Mary E. Whipple.

Mary Ann (Rice) Whipple was born 1795 in Whitesboro, Oneida Co., NY.  She 
married William Amos/Amos William Whipple on February 1, 1815 in Whitesboro, 
Oneida Co., NY.  They were the parents of Nelson A. Whipple, Allen H. Whipple, 
William R. Whipple, Henry P. Whipple, George S. Whipple, and Randolph Wells 
Whipple.  She died on July 9, 1879 in Dansville, Ingham Co., MI.
