                               Clarissa Wright
                                 1780 - 1869

Clarissa "Whitney" Wright daughter of Captain Ebenezer Whitney and Ruth Raymond 
was born on February 21, 1780 in Norwalk, Fairfield, Connecticut USA. She died on 
July 7, 1869 in Dansville, Ingham, Michigan USA and buried at Fairview Cemetery, 
Section 2 Lot 228 space 2 in Dansville, Ingham, Michigan USA on the plot owned by 
her son in law Daniel Johns Cobb Sr. On January 1, 1801 in Norwalk, Fairfield, 
Connecticut USA she married Lockwood Hoyt and had four children: Isaac E. Hoyt, 
Charlotte E. (Daniel Johns Cobb Sr.), Mary Esther and Lockwood Hoyt. Her second 
marriage was on August 14, 1808 in Wilton, Fairfield, Connecticut USA to Lewis 
Blackman, a shoemaker and her third marriage was in February of 1832 to Jacob
Wright born in Pennsylvania USA.
