BURGESS, David T.; 1810-1862; Husband of Electa A. Burgess; a previous 
cemetery reading lists his date of death as December 25, 1862, aged 52 years, 
8 months, and 15 days.  He owned 198 acres of farmland on Sections 7 and 18 in 
Alaiedon Township.  Of special interest: Mary Ann Bennett, daughter of John 
Franklin Bennett, Sr., married Jay P. Burgess, son of David and Electa Burgess 
on May 7, 1871 (Lansing Rep., 5111871).
